Emerald Ranch

Perched atop a forested ridge above the scenic wine growing region of Dry Creek Valley outside of Healdsburg, a family compound was envisioned by the owners and design team. Through an inspired collaboration with Wade Design Architects, the site’s dynamic natural attributes were emphasized and incorporated into the master plan. A serene entry court with a reflection pool and redwood framed eastern views provides a quiet and spacious arrival.

Passing through the open floor plan of the home, an infinity edge pool, outdoor cooking and fire pit invite play and relaxation in shaded terraces and expansive green space that utilizes the flat ridgetop terrain of the site. With a primary goal to celebrate the breathtaking views and native woodland, each space is imbued with a sense of the regional context and a connection to the stunning Sonoma backdrop.
